Lowongan Kerja The World Bank has a substantial energy sector portfolio and pipeline in Indonesia that is expanding rapidly. Key engagement areas include (i) power sector infrastructure, (ii) renewable energy and low carbon generation; (iii) access to modern energy and (iv) energy efficiency.


The World Bank Indonesia is seeking an energy specialist with broad experience in the energy sector, to participate in the Bank's business development and operations with a focus on geothermal energy and energy efficiency.

Extended Term Consultant (ETC) - Energy Specialist

Candidates are expected to have the following minimum qualifications:
• A Masters' Degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, e.g. power engineering, energy economics or similar.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional energy sector experience in one or more of the following subsectors: power sector, renewable energy, geothermal power, rural electrification, energy efficiency or national gas supply;
• A good understanding of Indonesia's overall energy sector issues, prevailing policies and regulatory environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Indonesia;
• A willingness to travel on missions within Indonesia as necessary.
